Our Yachtshare experience with "Satisfaction" has greatly exceeded our expectations. As a family it has given us enormous pleasure and time to be together in an environment very few of us really appreciate. As a couple, our time on the boat is very special – not just for the sailing exhilaration but for all the moments watching the sun set over the glassy water or the moon rise over Stradbroke to a star filled night.

Yachtshare is a brilliant concept which is superbly managed by Barry, and Allan and Abbie our great boat maintenance team. Its just so good to arrive at the boat to find it well maintained, clean and tidy and ready to go. Because its so hassle free, my wife and I sail more frequently than we ever did on our previous boats (and we didn't quite manage to use up all our allocated days last year), and the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 39i is a sensational boat. Its also very reassuring to know that everything works on the boat when you want it to. The trimester booking system works well for us, as having to book our sailing ahead we end up arranging the rest of our lives around the sailing (as life should be !) instead of the other way around.

Yacht ownership without the cleaning and maintenance chores. What a great idea. When I first bought my share in Satisfaction, I hoped that it would live up to the marketing. It was the first yacht Yachtshare put in the water, and I can state that I have always been fully "Satisfied with Satisfaction" A fraction of the capital outlay with reduced monthly maintenance costs compared with the full ownership alternative, is a winning formula. Deborah just loves the walk on-walk off convenience, and for a lady who regards three stars as camping, always enjoys coming along as the first mate. I get my racing fix when we get together with a couple of other owners to do the Kingfisher series and have had some success. For a luxury cruising yacht, Satisfaction is still quick around the cans. Now we just need to get a few more owners out there so we can have our own regatta.
